Summary Coming of Age (2001)

Stevie is apprehended in a gay-bashing and sentenced to serve community time in an AIDS hospice. At first, Stevie is intent of doing as little as possible but he is soon confronted with the reality of AIDS. Gradually, he befriends Will, a patient who becomes a mentor to him.

After his involvement in a gay-bashing Stevie is sentenced to community service at an AIDS hospice. There he meets and befriends Will. Confronted with new truths his attitudes change but will Will understand when he finds out Stevie's past, and will Stevie's friends understand his new perspective?
